Production of acetone-butanol-ethanol (ABE) through the fermentation process is one alternative that needs to be developed. Less economical in ABE difficulty separation from product and by-products reaction. Among methods, such as extraction, distillation, adsorption, gas stripping, distillation method still most widely used process. The purpose this study was provide recommendations for predicting good producing optimum operating conditions produce high % butanol content. Which then simulated using Aspen Plus V11 software. This varied reflux ratio column decanter temperature. results showed purity reached 90.33% radfrac 1 operated at a pressure 1.3 atm with 5, location 7th feed stage number stages 11. Then proceed purification 2 which 4th 5. decrease causes content bottom so also decreases recovery or butanol. followed by stage, getting higher, increasing.
